It’s really hard to build a reputation as a blogger in the financial, economic or business world. It seems like every man and his dog has an opinion or their expertise to share with the world. Due to the abundance of financial bloggers, it’s hard to know who to trust and where to turn to for advice that is genuine and actually useful.
That’s one of the many reasons I’ve worked so hard to only publish relevant and factually correct articles. However, with that being said, I am still a full-time economic adviser, so I am a very busy man! I still want to be publishing regular content on my blog so I am now looking for guest authors to contribute to the blog and help me out to make sure my readers are getting fantastic and useful content adding all the time.
So if you’re looing for somewhere to contribute your writing, then you can get in touch with me to inquire. I am currently accepting guest posts, but there are a few conditions. I really need content to be excellent quality and relevant to my blog. Take a read through the previous posts and you should get a proper feel for what it is that I write about, in general, this is an economy and business blog.
Topics for Guest Posts
There are a few general topics you can write about if you’re thinking of submitting a guest post, but don’t let these hinder you too much. At the end of the day, if you truly think you’ve got good content to add and it doesn’t strictly fall into one of these topics, speak to me and we’ll discuss what you want to submit and it may still be good for the blog.
If you’re struggling for ideas, start by looking at these categories:
- Making Money
- Credit & Loans
- Credit Score
Chances are, if you’re writing about business, finance and the economy, then your writing will fall into one of these categories without even trying. But if you’re struggling a little bit, do a bit of research into these general topics and see what sort of in depth articles are already out there on the internet, it may inspire you to write something equally as good for my blog.
Who Can Write for Me
It’s pretty easy to get published on Econloop, after all, I’m not a qualified writer, I just have a knack for it and really love what I’m talking about and that passion shows in the writing that I publish. So if you want to add content, don’t worry if you don’t have a qualification in journalism or be published elsewhere, I’m happy to just have decent quality content that is well thought out and pleasant to read.
Why Write for My Blog
There are plenty of blogs out there that enable you to add content and submit an article, but how do you know which article you submit will be the most useful and beneficial to yourself?
In truth, you don’t really, but I’m hoping I can help clear things up about what it is you can get when you submit a post to my blog. The main reason a lot of people publish here is to get their written work out in the world to start building a portfolio. When you start out as a writer, it’s really hard to do anything other than freelance without some evidence that you know what you’re doing. Having that evidence and having proof that other people think your writing is good is a great way to prove that people are willing to read and enjoy your work.
It also helps you to get a sense of purpose, especially if you’re a little underwhelmed with work (as in, you don’t have any). Applying for jobs all day, every day can be pretty soul destroying, but having something else to do can help to give you a purpose that isn’t just trawling through endless ‘Help Wanted’ ads.
You’ll also get a link back to your own blog that can help grow your audience when people visit mine to go to yours. With over 15,000 unique visitors per month, even if just 1% of my readers go to your blog, you should get a significant increase in page views and traffic.
How to Submit
When you’re ready to submit, send me a message using the contact form below and we’ll discuss your topic and the article before I publish it to my site.
I’m really looking forward to reading everything you’ve got to contribute to the blog!
