About me

This is my blog, this is EconLoop.

This is the place where I come to share everything that I’ve been going through with my personal finance and to share my tips on how to make it in this economic mess the world has found itself in.

I set this blog up a couple of years ago now as a way to share my experience that I’ve gained through my school education and my real life education. It sounds geeky, but the economy is something that I’m really passionate about and it’s something that I am actually pretty talented in, so it’s great for me to share these experiences with those that may be struggling a little bit with finance and figuring out how to navigate the economy.

My Own History

I grew up in a big city with a banker father and a lawyer mother. They are both incredibly intelligent people and they played a big part in shaping who I am today and I’m really great for all they’ve done for me and they are still a big part of my life and if I ever need advice, I will always go to them first.

I was a pretty normal teenager, goofing off a few times but always getting the marks I needed (somehow!) I studied average A-Levels in Maths, English, Business and Computer Science, so I could get a really broad basic education. From this college, I found out I was actually pretty good at maths and business (just like my parents!) and I eventually applied to university, after a two-year break to find myself.

So, I enrolled at Wolverhampton University and began studying Business and Accounting and it was great! I really knuckled down so I could get the best degree possible and move up in the economic world.

And that is exactly what I did. I got a job as an economic advisor to a big-name company (not telling who!) and the rest is history.

My Blog History

I started this blog as a fun way to talk about my job in an outlet that is nice and non-pressured and just a little evening filler for me to pass the time.

It’s grown bigger than I ever thought and now I’m posting regular updates all the time, in fact, I’m struggling to keep up a little bit!

But, as long as people keep clicking on my little blog, I’ll still keep trying my best to post as often as I can.

I write about a whole host of different things and it really depends on what’s going on in the world of economics and finance at any moment in time. I tend to base my blogs around thoughts I have about business and finance news that crops up every now and then, if it’s not based around news, it’s my opinion on finance topics or well-informed pieces on global economic problems – what can I say? I truly do love my line of work and want to share it with the world.
